Welcome Republicans

Some of you will probably be asking “who the hell is this guy” or “how dare he challenge my Congressman”, but hopefully many more will be seeking as to why I’m challenging Sean Duffy to be your representative in Congress.  The short answer is that I don’t believe he’s Conservative enough to help get this country back on track.

A guy, that ran as a Democrat in 2010, is going to show us that Congressman Duffy isn’t Conservative enough?

That’s right, but more correctly put, I’m a Conservative that ran on the Democrat ticket in 2010.  After we examine a bit of his voting record it should become crystal clear, but many of you were already suspect of his political maneuverings and votes on the debt ceiling and unbalanced budget deals that have only lead to the proverbial kicking of the can down the road.  Why, he just recently voted for a one billion dollar aid package to Ukraine [HR 4278].  Doesn’t sound much like the Young Gun we all voted for to reign in spending in Washington, does it?

Nobody here is saying he’s a bad guy, but with all due respect he’s just the wrong guy.  Being better than a 40 year incumbent just isn’t a good enough reason anymore to represent our collective voices.  If we are to have any hope at all of pulling out of this financial mess we need to demand absolute consistency from our representatives when it comes to voting for meaningful legislation that always puts the best interests of our nation and the well being of its citizens first.

Just as much as Democrats don’t want to hear anything negative about Barack Obama, the same goes for Republicans in hearing about Sean Duffy.  That’s what makes this so challenging, but if you allow me a few moments of your time maybe I can at the very least convince you to invest a bit more this primary season before you draw any conclusions.

I welcome you all to explore my website - to find the answers to your questions - to better understand what I’m all about and to challenge yourself in making the best choice for your Representative in Congress.

I graciously thank you for your time and would greatly appreciate your consideration.
